About the Role

Provides day-to-day technical and administrative support for logistics staff and activities.

What You Will Do

  • Tracking and reporting on activities, costs and expenditures for all transportation modes.Verifying documents and checklists are accurate and complete.Notifying departments of shipping or receiving schedules and of any logistics problems.

  • Maintaining records of all shipments and invoices using an established system.

Standard Operating Procedures: Knowledge of established standard operating procedures (SOP); ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Logistics Management: Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials; ability to understand, predict and control the movement of goods, materials and supplies.

Transportation - MFG: Knowledge of transportation; ability to transport materials and goods to and from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and customers.

What is Required:

  • Bachelor's degree completed Business administration, Engineering.

  • Level of English Advanced-Intermediate, spoken and written is required.

  • Management of Office package (Excel, Power Point, Power Apps)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in International Business or Foreign Trade, experience in Transportation Processes (Air, Maritime, Land) Import, Export and National.

  • Experience in Transportation cost analysis, Tenders, Expense Forecasts and Budget Management.

  • Experience in using databases, information analysis.

  • Negotiation skills and implementation of processes and coordination of activities between different areas.
