About the role

Senior quality professional with significant experience. Implements Carrier Excellence/Continuous Improvement strategy. Influences others regarding matters of significant quality importance and improves processes and systems to enhance quality performance using Carrier Excellence/Continuous Improvement tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements lean, continuous improvement, and six sigma (Process Certification) processes in accordance with the Carrier Excellence Criteria and program directives.

  • Leads large and complex transformation initiatives that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions focused on continuous improvement.

  • Sets the direction for the application of Carrier Excellence tools and methodologies in business and manufacturing environments to drive best in class processes while working to become a recognized Carrier Excellence Practitioner/Carrier Excellence Master.

  • Develops methods for identifying and implementing best practices to ensure quality control procedures effectively evaluate an organization's products.

  • Leads large Carrier Excellence Site Assessments to enable Carrier Excellence site and cell certifications.

  • Analyzes complex monthly Carrier Excellence Performance Metrics to ensure that organization objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and quality are met.

  • Develops and implements standards for the proper application and interpretation of the Carrier Excellence criteria that is required to become a certified Carrier Excellence Silver/Gold assessor.

  • Provides specialized expertise for the content of Carrier Excellence training materials to ensure a successful Carrier Excellence Certification Program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations,

  • Proven experience in direct operations management in a manufacturing environment.

  • Successful leadership of medium-sized programs to completion.

  • Strong knowledge of program management methodologies and best practices.

  • Application of Lean Six Sigma and a passion for continuous improvement.

  • Skills:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • High degree of independence and proactiveness.

  • Ability to work in complex and ambiguous environments.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/Power BI/JDE systems (optional).

  • Travel and Schedule:

  • 10% international travel, 60% travel within Mexico (Navojoa)

  • Hybrid role: 2-3 weeks per month at the Navojoa facility
