We are offering a employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Santa Barbara, California. In this role, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, invoice review and processing, and handling various accounts receivable functions. This position requires proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and other related skills.

Responsibilities:

• Processing a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently

• Conducting thorough reviews of operating expenses and capital expenses

• Managing reconciliations and reviewing for accuracy

• Handling daily deposit journal entries and ensuring their accuracy

• Paying invoices relating to construction in progress, recording them separately in a dedicated system

• Running depreciation and providing overall accounting support

• Utilizing Excel formulas to streamline and automate tasks

• Handling both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions

• Managing cash activity and check processing tasks

• Using accounting functions to support the financial office professional in completing revenue and tickets from the previous day

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Billing Functions and managing Cash Activity

• Know-how of Check Processing and Bank Reconciliations

• Ability to use Excel Formulas effectively

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures
