Description: The IT intern assists the Information Technology department in day-to-day operations in supporting the technology systems for Layton Construction.
Duties:
Assists in imaging and initial computer setup for new hires and computer upgrades
Assists in printing labels, boxes and ships new computers
Performs basic computer troubleshooting
Provides assistance in onsite computer setup
Sets up new user accounts on the network and email
Works with the help desk to provide onsite assistance to end users
Updates the helpdesk ticketing system
Performs basic repairs on computer systems
Assists in pulling network cable, and installing network jacks
Qualifications
Required: Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in University.
Prior internship preferred but not necessary.
Construction industry experience preferred.
Benefits: Interns are not benefits eligible.
