School Office Assistant - Farmin Stidwell Elementary - 8 hours/day (202 day calendar)School Office Assistants provide administrative and clerical support to school staff, students and families.Starting pay range for 2024-2025 school year for School Office Assistants is $15.79 - $20.01/hour, depending on experience. Job Duties:
Answers main phone line for the school - responding to or directing inquiries as appropriate
Greets and assists visitors to the school
Maintains student records and files
Enters data to student information system (SIS)
Distributes communication materials to building staff and classrooms
Compiles scheduled reports for state and federal agencies
Responds to concerns from students and assists students in finding resolution to issues/concerns
Administers medications to students following instructions provided by healthcare provider and as designated in the student’s district health plan
Manage school calendars and administrators schedules
Clerical assistance for administration team
Desired Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years’ work experience with secretarial and customer service responsibilities
First Aid & CPR Certification within 90 days of hire, and maintenance of current certificate thereafter
