Immediate Opportunity: Temporary-to-Hire Position

Our client is seeking a motivated and personable Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join their team in San Marcos. The role primarily involves interfacing with clients and patients over the phone to address inquiries and grievances. Although this is an entry-level position, an Associate's degree is required. This is initially a temporary role, with the potential for permanent hire based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and issues via phone, email, and in-person.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to health care compliance standards.

• Document patient interactions as part of their case management.

• Coordinate effectively with healthcare professionals to address patient concerns.

• Improve patient satisfaction by offering solutions, recommendations, and additional services.

• Perform additional administrative tasks as required.

  Requirements

• An associate's degree is required. Degrees in related fields are a plus.

• While this is an entry-level position, previous experience in customer service, particularly in a healthcare setting, is a plus.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for handling patient inquiries and complaints.

• Skills in professionalism and a strong work ethic are necessary for dealing with sensitive patient issues.

• Comfortability with learning and using healthcare software for case management.
