Power Integrations Human Resources Operations Manager in San Jose, California
Summary:
The HR Operations Manager will develop and implement compensation programs to help Power Integrations attract, retain, and motivate talent. She/he will also be responsible for the maintenance of Oracle HR Module, SumTotal, ECM and Jobvite and related HR Software Modules in conjunction with the Information Technology (IT) department. She/he will work closely with Staffing and hiring managers to ensure that compensation and performance management programs remain competitive and confirm the current compensation and rewards strategy of PI and all applicable laws. The HR Operations Manager will report to the Sr. Manager, Human Resources.
Compensation Responsibilities:
Ensure alignment of incentive/reward elements with culture, strategy and operational goals
Work with the Recruiting team to ensure new hire offer packages align with market and internal peers by applying Power Integrations compensation policies in fair and equitable ways
Research and develop recommendations for annual budget adjustments to maintain internal and external equity in compensation planning
Work with IT and HR Generalist to ensure that all HR systems meet compensation needs and are updated to reflect any changes
Collaborate with business partners, including HR and Finance management to design compensation plans and compensation budget
Drive annual merit and Focal Process, and support sales incentive plan
Responsible for evaluating job descriptions, market pricing, global salary survey participation
HRIS Responsibilities:
Responsible for regular management headcount reports, organization chart, turnover data, and metrics
Implement, test, and maintain the functionalities of the company’s HR systems
Integration of multiple HR platforms, vendor products, and technologies
Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and security of data accessed during the course of daily activities
To develop & sustain HR systems training and process documents
Identify gaps and initiate technical projects to address them
Manage year-end Oracle vacation carryover, cash out and monthly global Oracle vacation reporting
Maintain and support a variety of custom HR reports utilizing the reporting tools
Provide HRIS end-user support, in coordination with the HR Help Desk
Manage all HR software contracts with vendors, and coordinate resolution of system issues managed by 3rd party vendors
The role serves as the point of escalation for all HRIS related matters/inquiries globally
Compliance Responsibilities:
Maintain and update annual HR Calendar, EEO 1 Filing, 1095 C– Filing, 401K Filing and testing
Manage leave of absence, payroll audit and any SOX related testings
Qualifications and Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
A minimum of 4-7 years related experience
Solid understanding of employee compensation and total rewards programs
Ability to create and conduct complex analytics using Excel and other tools as needed
Must possess knowledge of HRIS such as Oracle, SumTotal, ECM and ATS (Jobvite)
Proven ability to independently initiate and execute projects with keen attention to detail and deadlines
Proven customer service, organizational and team collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, efficiently prioritize projects and embrace new challenges
Extensive knowledge and experience with state and federal labor laws and regulations as it relates to compensation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to multiple levels of the organization
The desire to learn new technologies processes and retain such knowledge
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
MS Office experience is required
Power Integrations is committed to building teams that drive innovation and therefore review a range of factors when determining compensation. The annual base pay range for this position is $114,474- $168,596. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, qualifications and work location.
The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position in California. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
