Job Description

We are looking for a hardware test engineer to drive validation activities for new development and perform sustaining activities for telecommunication products such as routers and switches. This engineer will be responsible for defining and developing test plans, conduct compliance testing, and lead efforts to solve problems to meet product standards. Additionally, maintain accurate documentation of all actions required to achieve product certifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

It is highly desirable if the resource has experience automating test using python or similar scripting language

This is a great opportunity for someone to support the largest networking product company in the world and work on the newest products and technology. The team they will support is senior and very experienced so the ability to learn and advance their skill set is very high.

Work Environment

The work environment will be onsite Monday - Friday and in an engineering lab setting in San Jose. There is flexibility around the start time and as an example so people start at 8am and some come in at 10am. The expectation will be for them to work 8 hours per day. The team is comprised of 17 resources with 8 of them being consultants.
