Job Title: IT Support Technician II
Providing tier ii support to financial services companies is a "must have".
Specifically, investment management experience within financial services is preferred.
Client is seeking an IT Support Technician II to work in San Francisco, CA. (Hybrid - 2 days remote/3 days in office). This role will
provide day-to-day remote and on-site support. This position will require a candidate that will be the technical expert on all areas of end user system support.
Responsibilities:
Provide senior level workstation/laptop support
Ability to provide remote support for a professional hybrid work environment
Systematically resolve issues related to workstations and laptops
Escalate and support level 3 engineers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve user problems
Provide exceptional customer service while being able to manage day-to-day IT operations, critical situations and communicate the urgency of all issues as appropriate
Document issues/problems and solutions for both IT team members and end users
Be available as on-call support as needed
Basic Qualifications:
3-5 years relevant technical and functional experience in a hybrid Windows based environment
3-5 years of experience supporting Windows and MacOS workstations, laptops, and virtual environments
3-5 years of experience providing technical support in the financial industry a plus
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required. Will consider 5-7 years of experience and/or certifications in lieu of degree
Ability to interface with all levels of production and management Team
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to restore immediate use of systems
Strong documentation and communication skills

Working knowledge of video conferencing technologies such as Webex, Zoom and Microsoft Teams
Windows 11, Outlook and Office 365 support and troubleshooting, SharePoint client end support
System build, deployment, and maintenance
Strong familiarity with desktop security products
Firm understanding of Active Directory Administration
Deep functional understanding of Lenovo Desktops and Laptops, MSFT Surface, iPhones, iPads
Familiarity with Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Endpoint Management
Experience with MDM systems such as MobileIron and Microsoft Intune
Experience with MFA solutions (e.g. RSA, MS Authenticator, Duo, etc.)
Functional knowledge of one or more IT infrastructure fundamentals (e.g. basic networking skills, server, identity and access)
Relevant Microsoft Windows certifications are desired but not required
