JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the Unit Manager, this position is assigned supervisory & clinical responsibilities of the nursing unit/department & staff related to the coordination & operation of the department/unit. Team member whose responsibilities include leading, supervising, & influencing the daily operational activities associated with the assigned team. Supports the overall business plan by monitoring team performance & outcomes relative to established goals/measurements. Participates in rotational on-call duties including, but not limited to, responding to emergency situations, maintenance malfunctions, or staffing situations that require coverage.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree

3 years of experience

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA)

BLS for Health Care providers (AHA)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA)

Must be a team member on the department/unit for which candidate is applying or prior Team Leader experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICAITONS:

Master’s Degree

Bilingual Spanish

The expected hiring range for this position is $70.96 to $97.57
