Job Description:

We require an efficient Payroll Clerk to be responsible for all tasks involved in processing payroll. The Payroll Clerk has a range of duties notably ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, completing labor distribution, and employee benefits. The ideal candidate will also have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.

• Check attendance records and timesheets for accuracy.

• Calculate pay according to hours worked including overtime.

• Prepare payroll payments and statements of earnings.

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll.

• Record employee information, like exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records.

• Respond to employees’ questions and concerns regarding payroll.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in finance or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years experience of proven experience in payroll.

• Familiar with payroll procedures and software.

• Good understanding of the principle of confidentiality.

• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle time-sensitive tasks.

The contract duration for this position will be (specify timeframe), with the potential for a full-time role based on performance and company needs.
