Valero is looking for a Wholesale Systems Support Analyst to join the Wholesale Marketing team at the Valero Headquarters in San Antonio. The Wholesale Systems Support Analyst assists with supporting technology programs and solutions for the US Wholesale Valero brand by tracking, analyzing and summarizing key data to various internal departments and third-party technology partners. Daily activities may include:

• Provides technical support for Valero’s technology solutions, including Valero’s mobile payment application.
• Analyzes and reports on data elements, explain trending of data, and the story behind the data. Supports US Wholesale operations by performing data extraction, data mining, business analysis, predictive modeling and related tasks.
• Provides testing, design review, and support of the mobile payment application, including troubleshooting analysis, app updates and coordinating with third-party for change planning and issue resolution.
• Provides administrative support for technology programs, which includes internal cross-team coordination and coordination with the third-party service providers and branded distributors.
• Participates with the analysis of third-party solutions. This includes hands-on testing and regression testing.
• Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves issues related to mobile app, including escalations from internal resources, branded distributors, and Valero Technical Support.
• Provides technical support to internal and external business resources.
• Creates, reviews, and maintains technical documentation.
• Conducts research to learn current trends in technology, generates improvement suggestions, and presents findings to supervisor.
• Demonstrates a positive service attitude, exercises good judgment, maintains relationships internally and externally with customers/vendors, displays excellent problem-solving skills, and possesses a willingness and desire to learn and ask questions in order to grow in scope of knowledge.
• Collaborates with team members through active participation in meetings & brainstorming sessions to identify key performance indicators and track progress towards goals using data-driven methodologies.
• Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities, and records and transcribes minutes of meetings.

This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or higher level degree in Computer Information Systems, Technology, Business, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline required. * 3 years of experience in one of the following area(s): Technology service delivery, Mobile applications, Data Science, Business Analytics, Predictive Analytics required. * Experience using Microsoft Excel including the use of formulas, pivot tables, Vlookups and data filters preferred.
* Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero San Antonio location, required. * This role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.

Position level and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
