Insight Global Mechanical Engineer in San Antonio, Texas

Job Description

A client is looking for a Licensed PE Mechanical Engineer in the San Antonio, TX area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* As Project Manager, manage, direct, and supervise projects to assure project conforms to contractual requirements related to time, quality, and budget. Deal directly with client to establish project schedules and expectations. Conduct site visits as needed.

* Assist market segment manager and team leader in maintaining and developing client base through various business development efforts.

* Assist with proposal team and team leader in preparation of RFP type proposal responses including project write ups, resumes, etc.

* Work with Program Manager and team leader in preparation of fee proposals for division.

* Deal directly with clients/owners to determine specific project needs.

* Be responsible for the total mechanical systems design for specific projects.

* Make calculations integral to the mechanical systems design.

* Apply applicable building codes, regulations and client design standards.

* As we grow, manage and supervise mechanical engineering staff and lead staff meetings.

  • Salary range - $115-130K

Skills and Requirements

* Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering

* Experience in mechanical design and analysis for building construction projects

* PE licensed

* Proficient with Revit and AutoCadd

* Ability to travel 25% a year null
