Cryptologic Test Engineer - TS/SCI

As a part of KBR’s Intel group, you work on some of the toughest, most interesting problems. You work with some of the top experts in the industry and for some of the most crucial National missions.

In this SETA role, you use your expertise to test space cryptographic solutions for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) in the Communications (COMM) Directorate.

A Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) provides technical expertise to the Government. By working together with your government customer, you have the opportunity to influence mission success to a greater degree than anywhere else. You will troubleshoot a problem one day and make recommendations on implementation the next.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Resolve COMSEC issues and anomalies

  • Verification & Validation testing

  • Develop, document, and execute test plans for performance, validation, etc.

  • Research, design, and test key management technologies and potential solutions

  • Support integration of key management hardware, firmware, software

  • Support regular cadence of audit and optimization tests

  • Ensure test plan and test report deliverables are written IAW customer specification

  • May need to support COMSEC account management after hours from time to time

  • Support technical risk reduction tests

  • Make recommendations for future systems

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in a STEM field and 5+ years’ experience with COMSEC / Crypto testing

  • Or: Masters and 3+ years' experience

  • Or: Associates and 7+ years' experience

  • Or: HS and 9+ years' experience

  • TS/SCI with Poly

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Military / DOD / IC space and ground experience
