We're Hiring for a Medical Credentialing Specialist role in the San Antonio area!

Description:

Provides support and serves as liaison to the Medical Staff /Allied Health members and officers.

Credentials all physicians and allied health professionals according to JCAHO standards; Medical

Staff Bylaws and delineation of privilege requirements

Queries all state and/or federal agencies as part of credentialing process

Ensures compliance for all regulatory agencies

Maintains a current physician and /or allied health roster ;files and/or database;

Maintains and ensures that all necessary documents are current and on file (i.e. license, DEA, ,

malpractice insurance; Board Certification);

Runs reports and/or labels as necessary or as requested

Ensures data entry of all physician/practitioner information is accurate in credentialing software systems in the MSSO;

Performs all Primary Source Verifications as necessary.
