**Job Summary and Description

Coordinates purchasing activities including researching, identifying, and evaluating vendors for pricing and quality, documenting all purchasing decisions, and completing purchase orders.Reports to the District Purchasing Department. To view a complete job description,click here.

  • Bachelors degree or combination of education, training and experience that equates to the required degree.
  • Three years of experience in public purchasing, contracting and/or Small, Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (SMWBE) development/outreach.
    • Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in business, procurement or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in public purchasing, contracting and/or SMWBE development/outreach.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Prefer public purchasing certification.
