Won-Door manufactures and installs custom fire, sound and security accordion door products. For over 60 years, Won-Door has provided tens of thousands of unique customized solutions to help solve the architectural challenges on many projects from the elaborate and state-of-the-art, to the local school or office next door. With recent developments and growth, Won-Door is looking to enhance its service business by expanding preventative maintenance sales.

Position

Supports safe, efficient, and productive operation of heavy machinery. Working primarily in the production plant.

  • Possess fundamental math skills.
  • Comprehend written and verbal instructions.
  • Communicate using good oral and written skills.
  • Able to read and work from blueprints, cutsheets and / or sketches to determine raw materials, dimensions and layouts of parts.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently lifts items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Anything over 40 pounds may require assistance.

  • Adjust and monitor feed speed level.
  • Be proficient in deburr operation to include set up and operation of deburring machines.
  • Set up and operate mill machines. Adjust and monitor controls as necessary.
  • Operate hand tools, grinders, drills and sanders.
  • Be proficient in Numerical Control machine operation to include set up and operation of Numerical Control machine. Edit, adjust and monitor controls and gauges as necessary.
  • Perform work within precision standard of quality, which must fall within the stipulated specifications with a minimum of rework.
  • Perform work within the safety guidelines outlined.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
