The Utah Department of Corrections is looking to hire a Licensed Clinical Therapists LCT) to provide treatment at our Provo Treatment Resource Center located in Provo,UT.

[Position may be underfilled as a Caseworker III  (Starting salary $30.57-$38.31) upon the qualifications of the applicant. The Caseworker III shall be Licensed as Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor or a Certified Social Worker.   ]{.underline}

The Utah Department of Corrections Reentry and Rehabilitaion Division that works with substance use and mental ill offenders is looking for a Licensed Clinical Therapist (LCT) to provide treatment to offenders to visit the Provo Treatment Resource Center.

Job Duties:

The Utah Department of Corrections is dedicated to helping individuals with substance use disorders to achieve lasting recovery. We are committed to providing evidence-based treatment and support to our clients,and we are looking for a skilled and compassionate Substance Use Therapist to join our team.

As a Substance Use Therapist with the Utah Department of Corrections,you will play a vital role in helping individuals on their journey to recovery. You will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments,formulating treatment plans,and delivering specialized individual and group psychotherapy services. This position requires a strong commitment to improving the lives of those struggling with addiction. The Ideal Candidate will:

• Hold a License as a Psychologist,Clinical Social Worker,Marriage and Family Therapist,or Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
• Speak and Write effectively.
• Have knowledge of psychological or mental health,and social factors that may contribute to the client's situation.
• Have understanding of how to use case histories of client's/residents to further understand client population.
• Have knowledge of human behavior and performance,individual differences in ability,personality,and interests.
• Have knowledge and experience with a diverse population.
• Have the ability to maintain detailed records.
• Have knowledge of principles,methods,and procedures for diagnosis,treatment,and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunction. 
• Have the ability to evaluate the ongoing needs of the client,build treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Will be able to speak and understand the Spanish language.
