Robert Half is seeking a Controller to join a fantastic local company who believe in fostering growth, innovation, and development. They are a leading company in the manufacturing industry and are known for our collaborative and supportive work environment.
We are now seeking a qualified and dynamic individual to fill our Controller position. The ideal candidate must have a track record of excellent performance in financial leadership roles, preferably backed by the credentials of CPA (Certified Public Accountant) with specific experience in the manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions
Directing financial strategy, planning, and forecasts
Studying, analyzing, and reporting on trends, opportunities for expansion, and projection of future company growth
Maintaining relations with investment communities
Conducting financial analysis and preparing reports of findings and recommendations
Managing financial and system controls and standards, ensuring timely financial and statistical reports for management and/or Board use
Requirements
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is required
Extensive knowledge and experience in the manufacturing industry
Proven knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
Strong knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business with a strong emphasis in Accounting
