Job Duties: Associate, Data Stewardship with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Data Stewardship role responsible for collaborating with all divisions and global vendors to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and governance. Ensure that our financial product reference data can properly serve as a building block for downstream systems performing critical booking, settling, and reconciliation functions along with designing the next generation systems. Proactively resolve data exceptions, dive deep into technical issues to investigate and fix complex issues spanning multiple teams and vendors, and partner with business partners to analyze and implement solutions for new business reference data needs. Provide technical support for financial product reference data. Utilize business intelligence tools for product reference data.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics Engineering, or related field and one (1) year of experience in job offered or related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics Engineering, or related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or related role. Prior work experience must include one (1) year (with a Master's degree) OR three (3) years (with a Bachelor's degree) with: Data modeling utilizing Structured Query Language (SQL), JIRA software, Python programming language, and R software; utilizing Microsoft Excel to analyze product and pricing data; improving processes and implementing them globally to impact and uplift an entire process; performing root cause analyses and utilizing other Lean Six Sigma methods; working with product reference data and performing critical booking, settling, and reconciliation functions; and working with senior technologists and project managers on key projects for reference data support modeling.
