Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide maintenance of all Environmental equipment.

Starting Rate: $26.87

Schedule:

• A Shift: Sun-Tues, every other Wed; 5:10 am to 5:42 pm

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

1. Generate all PMs using MP2 software.

2. Assign and schedule PMs.

3. Perform and complete PMs.

4. Close all completed PMs.

5. Complete any needed mechanical repairs to Environmental equipment (including changing out Baghouse bags).

6. Create purchase requests and submit for approval.

7. Inventory all supplies for Environmental Dept.

8. Work with outside Contractors on repairs of equipment.

9. Work with the production departments on scheduling equipment down for PMS or repairs.

10. Take readings on Environmental ventilation ductwork. (CFM and Velocity)

11. Take and evaluate daily readings on all environmental equipment.

12. Fill out Environmental dept. time sheets.

13. Inspect ventilation and take CFM readings, record findings in a report, and email to all Department Managers and other employees.

14. Must be able to Fabricate and weld if repairs require such.

15. Must be able to understand and communicate in simple English to receive training instruction and perform team responsibilities.

16. Comply with current QUALITY systems requirements.

17. Follow Lean Manufacturing procedures.

18. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Skills Required: (Job Classification of I, II, or III based on experience and /or time on the job )

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

• Must have working knowledge of Ventilation Equipment (Vacuum, Baghouse, Roto Clones, and ventilation ducting)

• Previous work with hazardous wastes and chemicals desired

• Previous work experience in a wastewater treatment system desired

Equipment Used:

Power tools, hand tools, ladders, portable pumps, meters, gauges, testing and sampling equipment, and personal protective equipment as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Physically fit for continuous standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

• Physically capable of wearing PPE including gloves, respirator, safety glasses, hardhat, metatarsal guarded shoes in accordance with established policy.

• Physically capable of frequently working in extreme conditions (hot, humid, cold). Example: Extreme Heat 120F-180F
