We are seeking an experienced assistant plant manager to join our team. If you have experience in a construction or concrete environment and enjoy working with your hands, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Job Responsibilities:

· Direct and manage plant operations for safe and efficient production of quality concrete pipe and precast concrete.

· Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower.

· Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.

· Control and minimize labor overtime and repair expenses.

· Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; makes recommendations to plant manager to replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.

· Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives; with one of the top goals to be safety.

· Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs.

· Incorporates organization and cleanliness among plant personnel.

· Provides direction, development, and leadership to plant personnel.

Requirements:

· Up to 5 years of experience in a supervisory function in concrete manufacturing environment.

· Computer literacy skills, specifically MS Word for Windows and Excel.

· Clear communication (oral and written) skills.

· Professional experience and manner.

· Industrial equipment operational knowledge.

· Experience with industrial manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.

· Concrete batch design, ACI Certification preferred.

· Commitment to safety.

Work Environment/Shift:

• Indoor/Outdoor setting

• 1st shift: 6:00 am - 5:00 pm; Monday – Friday (Saturdays as needed)

Benefits/Compensation:

• Pay rate: $95,000 - $100,000 depending on experience
