Red Hat Strategic Account Manager in Saint Paul, Minnesota

We are seeking an individual with at least eight years of sales experience to lead the U.S. Bank sales team by serving as the strategic account manager. The appropriate candidate will have an existing understanding of Red Hat's complete portfolio and the important ecosystem partners who will be part of joint solutions for both customers. In addition, the strategic account manager must have an complete level of understanding of Red Hat Sales Cloud as our primary tool for customer relationship management and account planning. We need a sales person who is great at collaboration with other team members who will represent solution architecture, customer success, sales specialties, ecosystem partnerships, services sales and Red Hat product management teams. Being a key member of the team requires that this individual contribute ideas to the overall account strategy including the global account plan. Red Hat requires that this role play an important position in crafting the joint sales strategy with IBM as well as the leading hyper-scaler, two SI partners and three ISVs. In addition, it is this individual's responsibility to focus on two business pursuits around payments modernization and one other area during the current fiscal year. During the course of the year, it is important to build incremental pipeline in both the current and subsequent fiscal year. Line of business selling will be one of the most critical roles associated with this position.

What you will do

Manage complex sales cycle from prospecting to closing, maintaining sustainable revenue across technologies

Understand the customer's business, technical requirements, and industry challenges

Work collaboratively with solutions architects, overlay structures, and inside sales representatives

Create strategic plans in collaboration with cross-functional team members and deliver on those

Accurately forecast and close sales in accordance with company goals

What you will bring

8+ years of experience selling complex network and IT solutions to global banks and global Financial Services institutions through multiple decision-makers

Understanding of the financial services market, landscape , partners, solutions, architectures

Understanding of the complex decision-making process in large banks

Experience selling in both direct and partner sales models

Ability to articulate comprehensive technological strategies to a wide range of decision-makers within an organization, including technical, business, and C-level audiences

Proven record of meeting sales quotas

Excellent communication and technical skills to develop relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout customer organizations

The salary range for this position is $209,650.00 - $345,890.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
