Position: Production Training Specialist

Shift: Days; no weekends ; x5 8's.

Salary Range: $62K-$80K+ (D.O.E.)

Job Summary:

• The Production Training Specialist's main responsibilities include overseeing, cultivating, coordinating, and occasionally delivering training for Manufacturing Operations personnel working in all three shifts. The role involves managing aspects of the training programs for production and warehouse staff to ensure they are up to date with their training requirements. The Training Specialist will also assist in the integration of new employees by providing essential training in basic skills required to work in a GMP production environment. Additionally, in collaboration with Production and Warehousing management, the Training Specialist will ensure that new employees follow a prescribed training program for skills development. The role also encompasses supporting the creation and execution of new training programs, as necessary, to ensure compliance with Regulatory requirements for a GMP operation. This position will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to incorporate best practices for training programs within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage training program and publish reports and metrics

• Deliver onboarding training to new production hires

• Manage and store training documents for audit purposes

• Develop and manage on-the-job training and qualified trainer programs

• Contribute to training initiatives and address audit findings

• Review and revise training documents

• Coordinate training related to production documents

• Communicate with staff and incorporate best practices into training

• Disseminate training materials through various platforms

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science field

• 5+ years of experience in a cGMP Manufacturing Environment, in a FDA regulated Industry

• 2+ years of experience in a training role

• Proficient in MS Office Suites Applications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Interview process:

• 30-minute Teams interview with hiring manager

• If the hiring manager likes them, then a 1.5-2-hour onsite interview will be scheduled with them and the team.

• Holiday Pay:

• 1-5 years = 80 hours 6-11 years = 120 hours 12-25 years = 160 hours 25+ = 200 hours

• The company will provide educational assistance in the form of reimbursement to eligible employees up to a maximum of $5,250 per calendar year, for coursework at a degree or certificate granting institution at either high school, vocational, college or graduate level
