We're looking for dedicated individuals like you to join our team in Saint Paul, MN, as fertilizer applicators. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining outdoor spaces while utilizing your expertise in handling pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and chemicals. Duties of the fertilizer technician: Diagnose and treat turf and landscape plant issues and diseases. Apply fertilizers and chemicals to lawns, plants, and trees, adhering to state and federal regulations. Safely operate lawn application equipment and comply with environmental health and safety policies. Prepare and apply fertilizer solutions safely for proper crop development. Mix and apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides using appropriate equipment. Handle, transport, store, and dispose of chemicals safely. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate issues effectively. Perform other necessary duties as assigned. Requirements of the fertilizer technician: Valid MN driver's license Pass a pre-employment background and drug test Have or be able to obtain a DOT medical card Pest control & chemical spraying experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent Lift up to 50lbs Able to work in outside conditions including cold, heat, wet, etc Continuously walking, standing, kneeling, bending and lifting Additional information: Apply today!
