Saguache County Government Income Maintenance Technician in Saguache, Colorado
JOB TITLE: Income Maintenance Technician
MUSTS: Must possess a valid Colorado Driver s License and Vehicle Insurance. Must have a High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) and ability to communicate professionally with clients, coworkers, and other agencies or organizations.
SKILLS: No degree or specialized training necessary, but includes a great opportunity for State Training. Capability to interview and investigate applicants for public assistance to gather information pertinent to their applications as well as keep records of assigned cases and prepare required documentation and reports. Bilingual ability is preferred and given consideration, but not required.
DUTIES: Position determines eligibility and benefit delivery for Medicaid, Food Assistance, Colorado Works and other income assistance programs.
WAGES: $16.24/hour, depending on experience.
BENEFITS: Full package of benefits to be discussed with the employer.
JOB TO START: As soon as a qualified applicant is hired.
DURATION: This is a permanent position.
SHIFT: This is a full-time job of (40) hours per week. Will work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm.
