Lisa Cole with Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for a Controller for stable non-profit organization. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day accounting, month end close, financial statement preparation and repotting to financials to the board of directors. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with the appropriate standards and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, program budgets, and actual expenditures.

• Regularly produce financial reports or statements.

• Adhere to tax laws and regulatory compliance to ensure the financial success of the organization.

• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors; assess changes necessary.

• Implement financial management systems, processes, tools, and control systems.

• Collaborate with senior leaders on operational and strategic issues and assist with the annual budgeting and planning process.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field.

• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.

• Previous experience within a non-profit organization would be highly desired

• 5+ years' experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position

• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
