ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Job Description

Electrical technician will evaluate, assemble, maintain electrical system and equipment's. Electrical technician will not design any electrical systems but will identify potential problems in system.

Skills Required

• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.

• Electrical testing, installing, and maintaining experience.

Job Duties:

• Install and mount electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components.

• Perform interlock wiring.

• Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring , equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices

• Inspected installation sites and studied work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.

• Read contract drawings.

• Installed conduit and basic conduit bending.

Additional Details:

• Shift: Monday to Thursday (5.30 AM to 4 PM)

Friday (5:00 AM TO 2:00 PM)

• Pay Rate: $20 to $30 (based on experience)

• Experience: 3 to 5 years

• Location: Virginia, 22546

Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing setting. Hard hat, steel toed boots, safety vest, and safety glasses are required. Company provides all PPE except steel toed boots.
