SEEKING BURN TABLE OPERATORS IN THE ROSEVILLE, MN AREA! $25-28/HOUR!

Job Description:

Uses overhead cranes and forklifts to unload, store and stage raw material for processing. Verifies that the material is correct as ordered, follows practices and procedures as outlines in SSAB’s ISO 9001 programs.

Loads material off/onto trucks or rail cars, verifies material is correct as stated on customer’s BOL/order.

Secures material loaded on railcars.

Responsible for daily inspections of lifting and processing equipment (when needed).

Follows all safety rules and regulations.

Would prefer individuals with Table/Waterjet/Laser

Would ideally like to have hoist experience or overhead crane experience

Skills:

• Operation of Burn Table

• Operation of Laser and Waterjet equipment

• Use of overhead cranes and forklifts

• Experience with CNC Oxy-Fuel/Plasma cutting equipment

• Experience with Oxy-Fuel Track Torch equipment

• Experience with CNC Machining Centers

Work Site:

This is a fully on-site position in Roseville, Minnesota.

Work Environment:

The position starts with a 6-month contract leading into a union. You will work in an industrial, very large warehouse environment that is hot in the summer and cold in the winter with constantly opening and closing doors. Despite temperature fluctuations, the organization offers significant benefits. Must have steel toe boots with meta-tarsal covers (non-detachable).
