Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a Professional Service company that is looking to fill the role of a Staff Accountant. This role will play a crucial part in our accounting department, focusing on the upkeep of the General Ledger, assisting in the monthly close process and preparation of financial reports. Responsibilities:

• Preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations

• Assist with the month-end and year-end close process

• Prepare monthly financial reports

• Record invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and pay invoices as part of Accounts Payable duties

• Use of QuickBooks desktop and online for various accounting tasks

• Ensure excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are utilized in all tasks

• Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, routinely resolving issues and suggesting improvements

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with the maintenance and management of the General Ledger

• Ability to prepare and process Journal Entries accurately

• Experience in managing Month End Close activities

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks accounting software
