obert Half Contacts Finance and Accounting is hiring a Staff Accountant to join an Educational Organization in Roseville! This Staff Accountant would be working under the organizations CPA and would be handing tasks such as:

-Accounts Payable Processing

-Reconciling multiple accounts

-Assisting with cashflow statements to ensure accuracy

-Tracking payments and resolving discrepancies

-Maintain GL accounts and journal entries

-Basic Bookkeeping

The ideal candidate would have at least 2-3 years of GAAP accounting, SAGE Intact software is a plus and excel is a must and someone who would have excellent attention to detail and can work well under pressure. Requirements • Possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Demonstrable experience in the field of accounting.

• Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and Sage Intacct.

• Solid understanding and experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Ability to perform bank reconciliations.

• Knowledge and experience with General Ledger responsibilities.

• Capable of making Journal Entries as required.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.

• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner.

• Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations as related to accounting.
