Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Solution Architect to join our team. The AI Solution Architect will be responsible for architecting and contributing to designing and implementing cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) solutions that drive business growth and innovation. As an AI Solution Architect, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop AI strategies, and oversee the execution of AI projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in AI technologies, such as machine learning.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Partner with stakeholders to identify business challenges and opportunities where AI solutions can be applied effectively

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of existing business processes, data infrastructure, and identify areas for improvement and optimization

• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, software developers, and AI engineers to ensure seamless integration and deployment of AI solutions

• Play a key role in defining the end-to-end AI architecture and selecting appropriate technologies from a pool of open-source and commercial offerings

• Provide technical guidance and expertise to the project team, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards

• Work closely with security and risk leaders to anticipate and mitigate risks, such as training data poisoning, AI model theft, and adversarial samples. Ensure ethical AI implementation and restore trust in AI systems. Stay informed about upcoming regulations and align them with best practices

• Conduct knowledge sharing sessions and mentor team members to promote a culture of learning and growth

• Audit AI tools and practices across data, models, and software engineering, with a focus on continuous improvement. Establish a feedback mechanism to assess AI services, support model recalibration, and retrain models

• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning and recommend innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field and 6+ years in the IT Industry including technical support, engineering and/or management, OR High School Diploma AND 9+ years of the above stated experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree

• 5+ years’ experience of leading and managing IT projects and virtual teams within a technical engineering or shared services environment

• Proven experience as an AI Solution Architect or similar role, with a deep understanding of AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and data management, especially in the areas of NLP/NLU and LLMs

• Proficiency in API integration and programming languages such as Python or R, and experience using AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch

• Extensive knowledge of data modeling, data engineering, and data governance principles

• Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing well-architected AI solutions utilizing machine learning and deep learning techniques

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Experience in leading AI projects, including planning, scoping, and managing project timelines and deliverables

• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with conversational AI platform, such as OneReach

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, such as Azure or AWS, is a plus

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate or Google AI Engineer are highly desirable
