Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a meticulous and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk in Rosedale, Maryland. This role involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving credit inquiries. The successful candidate will also monitor customer credit accounts and take action to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Address and resolve customer credit inquiries professionally and promptly

• Monitor customer credit accounts and identify any irregularities or issues

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook for various tasks

• Supervise and manage customer accounts, ensuring all financial notes are accurate

• Conduct research analysis on customer account discrepancies and resolve them

• Interact with customers through call center, ensuring excellent customer service

• Use templates for various tasks, ensuring consistency and accuracy

• Process payments and handle any discrepancies. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook

• Experience in accounts receivable (AR) and payment processing

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to resolve account discrepancies and collect outstanding payments

• Knowledge of sales and retail processes

• Familiarity with research analysis and financial notes

• Experience in a call center environment preferred

• Ability to work onsite

• Comfortable with scanning and video tools

• Experience in supervising a team is a plus

• Ability to use templates for various documents and reports

• Experience in handling customer accounts

• Ability to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
