Roseburg is located on Interstate 5 in Southern Oregon's scenic Douglas County. The community is nestled in a lush forested region known as the 100 Valleys of the Umpqua. Responsibilities
As a Nurse Educator you will be responsible for coordination and implementation of staff training and education.
Essential Duties:
Identifies, plans, presents and supports mandatory and continuing eduation needs.
Provides educational programs to ensure efficient department function, staff grwoth and patient/staff safety.
Assists with conceptualization, development and implementation of high fidelity medial simulation scenarios and courses.
Interacts with health care providers to identify and meet educational needs.
Shift: Casual Part-Time, Varied
Qualifications
License/Certifications:
State of Oregon RN License
American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers
ACLS
BLS Instructor within 3 months of hire
ACLS Instructor within 3 months of hire
ACLS, TNCC, PALS Instructor preferred
Experience:
3 years recent direct patient care nursing experience in a hospital or acute care facility
1 year nursing experience in a long-term care facility preferred
High fidelity medical simulation experience preferred
Previous teaching experience preferred
Education:
Associates Degree in Nursing
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Pay Range
$40.61 - $56.74 /hour
