Netflix Marketing Manager, Italy & Greece - FTC in Rome, Italy

The Role

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Italian Marketing Team.

This is a full time fixed term contract position located in Rome for maternity cover for one year.

As a Marketing Manager, you are passionate about absorbing business context and using that to make intelligent decisions that benefit the long-term value of the brand. In this position, you will be crafting and executing 360° campaigns for our members. The successful candidate will be comfortable taking the lead on marketing campaigns, yet act selfless and be inclusive.

The best candidate for the role is someone who lives and breathes our content already and talks naturally and passionately about our series, films, and documentaries. You will create campaigns that drive conversations and resonate authentically with local audiences in Italy and set new standards for entertainment marketing. What will you do?

  • Play a key role in building strategic and creative marketing campaigns for the launch of Local and International Netflix TV Series and Films, including the development of the creative campaigns, management workflows and production of required marketing shoots and local extensions of global campaigns with creative and impactful media planning, working on special projects (stunts, content, digital innovation) that increase the relevance of title promotion in Italy.

  • Write briefs to guide the creative and media strategy development and align internal marketing teams on goals and overall strategy for the launch.

  • Oversee the creative direction and execution across all channels with our partner agencies and internal stakeholders (AV, key visuals, media assets).

  • Build relationships and establish trusted partnerships with external partners including talent agencies and production companies.

  • Partner closely with your cross-functional partners in Italy like Content and Product teams, Publicity and Regional marketing teams to make sure campaigns connect with audiences on a local level.

  • Collaborate with our world-class product creative team to integrate our originals marketing campaigns ideas within the member product experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of previous experience in building impactful insight-led 360 consumer marketing campaigns preferably with a background in entertainment, global lifestyle or renowned creative agency with a strong passion for entertainment;

  • A curious creative mind: we need someone with experience in breakthrough messaging and campaigns that can impact the local zeitgeist to help Netflix establish and sustain meaningful connections with audiences across Italy;

  • A history of stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration with both internal and external partners;

  • Ability to lead, create and execute campaigns autonomously;

  • Capacity to continuously provide and receive constructive, actionable feedback to and from colleagues.

  • Solid Italian marketing experience and native understanding of traditional (broadcast, OOH etc.), social and digital advertising (direct video, mobile, paid social, programmatic, display, rich media, VOD) and of the Italian cultural context with a strong grasp of analytics and how to apply data to test and optimize campaigns;

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;

  • Previous international working experience is a plus;

  • Fluency in Italian and English is a must.
