We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for Event Coordinator for a Blood Drive organization in the non-profit industry based in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The role involves assisting in the planning, organization, and promotion of non-profit events, as well as managing relationships with business partners and stakeholders. The role will be a blend of a hybrid position. About 30% will be working remotely calling on leads, following up with previous donors, informing them of the blood drives in the Rock Hill, York and Chester area. 70% of the role will be driving out to the blood drives, assisting with a seamless process, greeting customers, ensuring metrics are obtained and assisting where needed. You will be reimbursed for mileage. The role is a 40 hour work week, but is not a typical Monday to Friday 9-5. There may be a weekend need as most of the blood drives are during the weekend. If you do have a weekend day on your schedule, you will have a day off during the week. Some of the drives can be up to an hour away.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and organizing non-profit events

• Act as the main contact for businesses partnering with the non-profit

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials for events

• Help maintain current business relationships while also seeking new ones

• Manage email marketing and direct marketing campaigns for event promotion

• Handle key account management and account maintenance tasks

• Coordinate events and manage event coordination tasks

• Follow up with partners and stakeholders through virtual interviews

• Utilize your skills in event handling to ensure smooth execution of non-profit events

• Perform any other duties necessary in line with the role of a Marketing Assistant.

Skills:

• Experience with CRM and Database systems

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems

• Familiarity with Facebook Insights and Google Analytics

• Ability to create Advertisements for marketing campaigns

• Understanding of Brand Awareness strategies

• Experience in creating Brochures and other promotional materials

• Expertise in Campaign Planning

• Excellent Customer Service skills.

Requirements • Demonstrated experience with CRM systems.

• Proficiency in using databases for marketing purposes.

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems.

• Ability to use Facebook Insights for marketing analysis.

• Proficiency in Google Analytics for measuring marketing success.

• Experience in creating and managing advertisements.

• Knowledge and understanding of brand awareness strategies.

• Experience in designing marketing materials such as brochures.

• Proven ability in campaign planning and execution.

• Excellent customer service skills.
