Responsibilities

Unique and exciting opportunity for a NYS licensed respiratory therapist that loves coaching, teaching and supporting patients in both health management and improvements in their health. This respiratory therapist will perform pulmonary function tests in our outpatient site in the ambulatory tower of Strong Memorial Hospital. Comprehensive orientation to workflows and physiology using ComPAS2 software to meet American Thoracic Society Standards. Team member will work in a collaborative environment with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and technicians to provide care to our complex patient population. Our most common condition management is with asthma, COPD, lung cancer and interstitial lung disease. We also perform oxygen qualification tests, PFTs for patients who require testing prior to surgery, bone marrow transplants, or organ transplant, in addition to inpatients that have a need for a pulmonary function test. Looking for motivated, autonomous, inclusive team member with 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

New York State license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with current registrations with at least one-year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $ 32.50 - $ 42.25 Hourly

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
