SUMMARY

The Lead Recruiter at Rochester Regional Health serves as the subject matter expert, providing guidance and coaching to the Talent Acquisition team, as well as serving as an advisor to operational leaders across the organization. The Lead Recruiter will drive best practice and process optimization efforts to ensure that RRH is poised to hire the best and the brightest.

STATUS: Full-time

LOCATION: Hybrid - Riedman Campus & Unity Hospital

DEPARTMENT: Talent Acquisition

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday

ATTRIBUTES

  • Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience
  • Nursing Recruiting experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Energetic, passionate individual with ability to sell the organization.
  • Able to multitask, meet deadlines, work on a team as well as independently.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support workload management across the team.
  • Coach, mentor, and serve as Subject-Matter-Expert to team members.
  • Identify and close gaps regarding competitive disadvantages and value proposition to attract talent
  • Establish and maintain keen knowledge of market and leverage insights to acquire talent.
  • Act as an advisor and coach leaders on selection decisions.
  • Expertly negotiate compensation rates to secure top talent.
  • Drive, develop, and communicate Talent Acquisition best practices.
  • Lead projects across process optimization and staffing remediation efforts.
  • Create and/or modify job descriptions and position for external marketing.
  • Work with hiring managers on staffing needs and creation of requisitions.
  • Conduct regular touchpoints to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements; conduct pre-screening interviews; maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the applicant tracking system.
  • Make offers to candidates and oversee successful onboarding of new hires.
  • Perform other special projects as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

PAY RANGE: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
