We are looking for a Global Microbiology Group Manager, for our Rochester, NY location.
This Manager will be responsible for the Global Microbiology Group located in Rochester, NY supporting our H&B Businesses primarily in the industries of Home and Personal Care, Food Enzymes, Grain Processing, and Animal Nutrition. The key disciplines are related to supporting the Team and the commercialization processes with microbiological and molecular solutions. Our involvement spans from the design (feasibility, selection, validate) and deploy stages with R&D all the way through the deploy, deliver and drive phases with our Manufacturing sites.
The oversight and support provided across this process is related to:
method development, optimization, and validation
qualification of process, products, and sites
troubleshooting process, products, and methods
compliance consultation, testing, and documentation
bringing in new technology
sharing quality best practices
Job Requirements

Required:
Requires a minimum of a Bachelors of Science (BS) degree with at least 7 years of laboratory experience in an Enzyme, Cultures, Food, Dietary Supplements, Probiotics, Cosmetic or related industry.
Requires at least 3 years of experience working as an active manager of scientific professionals, overseeing laboratory operations and supporting commercialization of products.
Compensation ($100,000 - 125,000) is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
