Your role will entail orchestrating sales undertakings, accomplished through achieving using Sales, Bookings, Gross Profit and strategic objectives encompassing a range of product lines, clientele and services within your designated territory. Communicate, engage and render unrivaled service to our clients in an effort to reinforce and bolster our relationship. Your focal point will be the sale and promotion of inventive products, solutions and services, coordinated by our Final Control Business Unit and select strategic Emerson business units.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Direct contact with customers to boost the sale of Emerson’s varied product catalog and savvy negotiation with long term prospects in mind

• Navigating through sales cycles from initiation to closure

• Further enhancing Emerson’s market stand by comprehending client’s business motives and objectives and staying updated with their circumstances

• Preparing and responsibly handling an annual booking budget categorized by product/value/period

• Team collaboration to handle integrated requests

• Participation in significant industry events

Who You Are:

A responsive listener who is capable of understanding varying perspectives. A provider of services that supersede customer expectations, and keen on using customer insights to spur the development of new offerings. A great teammate willing to collaborate with others across the organization to achieve common goals.

We require:

• A university degree in Engineering / Technical field or equivalent experience

• Proven Commercial Sales experience

• Fondness for technology

• Proficiency in CRM and MS Office tools

• Proficiency in English and Dutch language

• Local and international travel

• Driving license

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience in a matrix organization

• Experience in the industrial automation environment, with knowledge of technical products (valves, actuators, etc.) and understanding of associated industries

• A keen interest in energy conservation and sustainability
