Robert Half HR Generalist in Richmond, Virginia

Description We are in search of an HR Generalist to join our team in the legal industry, located in Richmond, Virginia. The role will entail a broad range of HR responsibilities, including full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, benefits and leave administration, employee engagement and retention, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the entire recruitment process, from creating job postings to welcoming new team members.

• Design onboarding experiences that seamlessly integrate new hires into the team.

• Manage employee benefits programs and leave policies to support team members through different life stages and breaks.

• Promote employee engagement and retention, contributing to a workplace that encourages professional growth and team solidarity.

• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations to maintain the integrity of our operations.

• Use HRMS and other software like ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, and About Time for efficient HR operations.

• Administer various HR functions such as compensation administration, compliance, and employee relations.

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Familiarity with Ceridian and HRMS systems

• Ability to use About Time software

• Expertise in Benefit Functions

• Experience in Compensation Administration

• Strong understanding of Compliance requirements within the legal industry

• Proven track record in Employee Relations

• Prior experience in a similar HR Generalist role within the legal industry
