Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Subject matter expert in public assistance cost allocation plans and administrative claiming

  • Handles complex state and federal regulations and requirements related to cost allocation, indirect cost rates, administrative claiming, and grant reporting

  • Analyze and interpret federal and state law and regulations

  • Provide guidance related to cost allocation for public assistance programs including but not limited to Medicaid, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and Title IV-E

  • Independently manage tasks with limited supervision while meeting and exceeding performance expectations

  • Develop and deliver progress reports, project management artifacts, and client presentations

  • Plan, monitor, and manage ongoing tasks with the project manager

  • Provide guidance and support to project teams in subject matter expertise

  • Develop and execute communication plans with clients, and effectively facilitate client discussions.

  • Effectively communicate with clients at senior leadership levels.

  • Identify and elicit requirements from key stakeholders in each engagement.

  • Identify gaps and shortcomings, and determine necessary workarounds.

  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members.

  • Assess best practices and program risks.

  • Lead proposal writing teams, including writing sections, coordinating efforts, and preparing proposal submissions.

  • Prepare other written reports and materials for clients.

  • Manage daily project functions and client interaction.

  • Systems perspective with proven experience in growing business, developing talent, managing strategic clients, and leading high performing teams

  • Strong quantitative skills and able to analyze and interpret financial data.

  • Ability to research, analyze and interpret policy, legal briefs and regulations.

  • Able to work independently and consistently achieve excellent results.

  • Able to work effectively with all members of project teams.

  • Outstanding oral and written presentation skills

  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to successfully identify new business opportunities and up-sell to existing customers.

  • Proficiency in assessing and managing budgets, contracts and overall business risk.

  • Supervises others successfully

  • Demonstrated expertise in MS Office products, particularly SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Min 8 years’ Experience instate agencies and federal programs, including Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF

  • Experience in public assistance cost allocation plans and administrative claiming

  • Able to work with a diverse range of people

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $105,000-$120,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
