Job Title: Electrician Tech

Job Description

An Electrician installs basic electrical equipment and systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Responsibilities include running rigid (1.5 inch) pipe down to gear boxes, wiring 3 way switches, assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components and devices. Additional duties involve installing and mounting electronic controls, performing interlock wiring, testing electrical systems and circuits, inspecting installation sites, diagnosing malfunctioning systems, directing and training workers, and reading contract drawings. Experience with electrical distribution systems, wiring up 480V, installing conduit, wireways, pulling wiring/cables, and terminating cables is essential. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and control wiring diagrams is required.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Ruther Glen, Virginia.

Work Environment

Manufacturing setting requiring hard hat, steel-toed boots, safety vest, and safety glasses. All personal protective equipment is provided except for steel-toed boots. Shifts run Monday through Thursday from 5:30am to 4pm, and Friday from 5:30am to 1:30pm, with potential for overtime.
