Job Description

Perform a variety of duties to ensure company s boom light & integration projects are completed in a timely manner and satisfy customer requirements under the general direction of the Program Manager. In addition prospect develop and close integration sales along with Olympus sales consultants and RVPs.

Job Duties

Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of our IT Enterprise Solutions and can communicate those to the customer's IT department and sales consultant. Provides advanced technical sales consulting in pre-sale situations to customers and sales consultant. Can articulate the unique capabilities of our product solutions and can lead a discussion with both the customer and sales consultant that details these advantages.

Assists the Olympus surgical and medical sales consultant with boom light & integration quotations. Prospects, develops and closes integration business. Co-travels with sales consultants and develops own relationships with technical stakeholders. Responds to requests for proposals and tenders for integration products. Attends coordination meetings as needed to ensure projects are progressing appropriately. Interfaces with project management and product management at head office and production facilities in Germany and the United States. Leads training for new product introductions.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering from an accredited University is required. Minor in business or commerce preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience.

  • Excellent computer proficiency with Autocad and Excel required.

  • Solid working knowledge of electronics personal computer hardware and software and LAN concepts.

  • Work flexible hours when required with the ability to travel extensively.

  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred:

  • Product design and development experience preferred.

  • Bilingual (French English) an asset.

  • High degree of personal organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requests for resources from both internal and external customers.

  • Demonstrated good verbal and written communications skills and presentation skills.
