Description Supervisor Security - SECURITY Department, Kadlec Regional Medical Center, Richland, WA The Security Supervisor performs a variety of advanced professional and first-line supervisory duties related to the coordination of security services. Reports to the Manager of Safety and Security responsible to oversee assigned shift functions and may perform professional, administrative duties as needed in the day-to-day supervision of an operational area of Security Services. Performs a variety of full performance level technical security protective duties to protect patients, visitors, staff, physicians, property and facilities from accidents, bodily harm, fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Shift: Full time, Variable shift, 40 hours Required Qualifications: Upon hire: National Healthcare Security & Safety Officer Basic Certification - International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety Or Upon hire: National Healthcare Security & Safety Officer Advanced Certification - International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information. Three years: Law Enforcement/Security/Military/Corrections experience, or related experience in healthcare setting. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's Degree: An accredited college in law enforcement, criminal justice, security, or related field, or completion of basic law enforcement academy.
