Role Summary:

The Rewards and Relations Partner I plays a key role by providing high quality and professional service to all team members in maintaining and administering functions related to HRIS data management, leave management, required forms, regulatory reporting, and other human resources (HR) functions. The Rewards and Relations Partner I will report to the Human Resources Manager/Team Leader and partner with other members of the HR team to accomplish goals and serve our team members.

What You Will Be Doing:

  1. Process paperwork and administer all leave-of-absence requests including medical, disability, FMLA, Washington Paid Family and Medical Leave, Paid Leave Oregon, and personal leave.
  2. Respond to and handle timely preparation of Workers Compensation (L&I) and other regulatory reporting.
  3. Manage and track all team member form I-9s and required documentation, including team member name changes and reverification of employment authorization documents.
  4. Serve as subject matter expert for all HRIS entries and processes as related to leaves of absences, E-Verify, and return to work processes.
  5. Demonstrate knowledge and fluency in labor laws and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  6. Assist team members with HRIS including online timesheets and employee self-service.
  7. Organize and prepare for bi-weekly new team member orientation relating to HRIS entry/access, IT data share for job-related required systems, required forms and policy acknowledgement.
  8. Respond to and complete verifications of employment in a timely manner.
  9. Process paperwork for ergonomic equipment requests and accommodation requests.
  10. Develop strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
  11. Collaborate with the HR team on development, implementation and communication of existing and new HR procedures and policies.
  12. Understand and perform Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions as applicable to job responsibilities.
  13. Attend credit union training sessions, conferences, or seminars as approved by supervisor.
  14. Maintain awareness of policies and regulations related to duties and responsibilities.
  15. Display leadership values such as mutual respect, trust and dignity, and act in the best interest of the credit union. Lead by example by always displaying solid ethics and integrity.
  16. Control risk and operate in a safe and sound manner.
  17. Maintain and protect sensitive data utilizing the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism.
