Energy Northwest Regional Services Program Manager II/I/Lead in Richland, Washington

GENERAL SUMMARY

Act as the primary member and customer relations interface for the agency and for Energy Services & Development (ESD), working to understand their needs and interests and developing opportunities for Energy Northwest to offer cost-effective solutions. Promote the range of ESD offerings, including products, services, and projects. Build and foster relationships and partnerships with both public and private sectors to help Energy Northwest accomplish its mission of serving public power in the region. Collaborate with the ESD team to optimize existing program and project participation while also helping develop new ones to meet emerging needs.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Act as the primary member and customer relations interface for the agency and for Energy Services & Development (ESD), working to understand their needs and interests and developing opportunities for Energy Northwest to offer cost-effective solutions. Promote the range of ESD offerings, including products, services, and projects. Build and foster relationships and partnerships with both public and private sectors to help Energy Northwest accomplish its mission of serving public power in the region.

Develop and maintain industry connections and actively participate with industry and community committees, forums, and other relevant events.

Identify, develop, and implement formal member engagement activities to solicit and refine input on member needs and to increase awareness of and enrollment in participation opportunities.

Work closely with the ESD team to strategically explore and develop new business lines, with an emphasis accomplishing agency strategic goals and objectives and supporting the agency mission. This includes supporting the negotiation of formal agreements, such as Interlocal Agreements, contracts, term sheets, and power purchase agreements, under the guidance of the business sector manager.

Participate on the Emergency Response team (ERO) and support the biennial refueling outage when designated.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Program Manager II:

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and fourteen years of progressively responsible exempt or any combination of professional level experience in the areas of business management, strategic planning, business development, or marketing.

OR

An Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university and sixteen years of progressively responsible exempt or any combination of professional level experience in the areas of business management, strategic planning, business development or marketing.

OR

A high school diploma or GED and eighteen years of progressively responsible exempt or any combination of professional level experience in the areas of business management, strategic planning, business development, or marketing.

Program Manager I:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and eight years of progressively responsible exempt or any combination of professional level experience in the areas of business management, strategic planning, business development, or marketing.

OR

An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university and ten years of progressively responsible exempt or any combination of professional level experience in the areas of business management, strategic planning, business development, or marketing.

OR

A high school diploma or GED and twelve years of progressively responsible exempt or any combination of professional level experience in the areas of business management, strategic planning, business development, or marketing.

Program Lead:

A bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university and five years of progressively responsible exempt or any combination of professional level experience in the areas of business management, strategic planning, business development, or marketing.

OR

An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university and seven years of progressively responsible exempt or any combination of professional level experience in the areas of business management, strategic planning, business development, or marketing.

OR

A high school diploma or GED and nine years of progressively responsible exempt or any combination of professional level experience in the areas of business management, strategic planning, business development, or marketing.

Advanced degree may be considered in lieu of two years of required experience.

Pay Range:

Program Manager II Salary: $124,510 - $186,764

Midpoint: $155,637

Program Manager I Salary: $108,279 - $162,419

Midpoint: $135,349

Program Lead Salary: $94,148 - $141,222

Midpoint: $117,685

Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.

Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.

Incentive Compensation

This role is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
