Best Buy Co. has an opening in Richfield, Minnesota, for an Associate IT Audit Manager position. Plan and lead audits to confirm controls are adequate and functioning effectively. Communicate progress of audits to Associate Director of IT Audit and audit clients in a timely manner. Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, assess risk, and recommend improvements to the associated controls and processes. Document IT processes, controls, and exposures. Write detailed audit reports communicating audit observations and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audience. Write and execute advanced queries against relational databases and directory services to extract records in support of IT and integrated audits. Gather and evaluate systems security configurations from UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems, relational databases, directory services, and enterprise applications. Perform SOX 404 IT compliance testing. Consult with IT and user personnel on system control methodologies and techniques. Lead opening and closing meetings with audit clients. Lead closing meetings with CFO. There are multiple positions available. Requires Master s degree in Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology.
