We are seeking a Part Time Payroll Specialist for a healthcare organization in Richardson, Texas. This job offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing employee payrolls, maintaining accurate payroll records, and resolving payroll inquiries. You will also be responsible for managing software systems related to payroll and accounting functions and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process employee payrolls on a regular basis

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date payroll records

• Resolve payroll inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner

• Manage and optimize the use of payroll and accounting software systems

• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and guidelines

• Administer employee benefits such as 401k - RRSP Administration

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) related to payroll

• Utilize IBM AS/400 and Kronos Timekeeping System for efficient payroll processing

• Assist in other accounting functions as needed.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Ceridian

• Proficiency in IBM AS/400

• Experience with Kronos Timekeeping System

• Knowledge in 401k - RRSP Administration

• Proficiency in About Time

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

Requirements • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Knowledge of Ceridian software is a must
