For this position, this person will be responsible for management and leadership of approximately 20-30 non-exempt employees on a compressed work week shift in an ISO compliant, class 10 semiconductor fabrication cleanroom. Must be willing to work on a compressed work week schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with equipment and process engineers to provide near term and long term solutions to obtain increased equipment uptime using lean manufacturing discipline
Responsible for operator productivity and efficiency, reviews, quality, yield, training, material movement, area schedule, and problem resolution
Work closely with manufacturing, process and equipment engineering to resolve problems and meet production schedules
Own administrative, development, and coaching for all employees
Work overtime as needed to accomplish the duties and responsibilities required of the job
QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing equipment and an analytical background
Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, or IE preferred
Equivalent experience in a fab manufacturing environment may be substituted for degree
Demonstrated skill and success in supervising operations in a high-tech environment strongly desired
Flexible and able to adjust to changing goals, objectives, company policies and have excellent time management and organization skills
Excellent management skills and experience coaching direct employees for success
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Versatility and ability to work on multiple tasks
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows-based software
Experience with concept and practices of Theory of Constraints, Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing
Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing equipment and an analytical trouble shooting background highly desirable
1- 3 years of experience preferred
